»I transform complexity into simple, intuitive and playful design...«

ANNE BOYSEN

Architect & Designer, Master of Arts (MA) in Architecture

Through my designs and spatial storytelling I shape the world the same way I perceive it: with immediacy, intuition and contemplation. My passion is to create design, art and architecture with an essence that touches people and invites interaction, play and focus, encouraging an awareness of being in the moment and in the world.

I am a consummate aesthete and love working across materials and media in collaborations with others who share my commitment to quality and detail.

The studio has always been my oasis, an energizing space where I seek out the core of my designs and works of art in a sensory and intuitive process of experimenting and reducing, until only the essence remains: the clear form, pure feeling and engaging experience that are the beginning and the end of my design process.

My mission is to make complexity simple and accessible in designs that move the user. I aim to create aesthetic experiences that go far beyond form and function and invite a deeper understanding of life by inspiring a sensory awareness of beauty and fun.

Anne Boysen (b. 1980) established Anne Boysen Studio in 2012 and works at the intersection of design, art and architecture.
